Tim Tebow (25th overall pick by the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft...and still the BACKUP QB) Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Florida anymore.

Which player will have the most rushing yards in the 2011-2012 NFL season?

No Trojan

No Trojan
submitted by
Brandon Scott (S.O.T.R contributor)

Lane Kiffin is On the Move once again. Who is that you ask? I cant agree more with that thought. New USC Trojan Football Coach Lane Kiffin, is only known because his last name, donned also by one of the most successful and heralded Defensive minds of all time Monty Kiffin, who happens to be his father. Now, I’m not opposed to following in your father’s footsteps, but lets be frank, if he has even deserved “1” of the head coaching jobs he had, then I deserve to be executive assistant/best friend for Mark Zuckerberg, my fellow 80’s baby, the millionaire CEO of Facebook.

Now my motivation for writing is my love for Knoxville and the orange and white checkered end zone. I have to admit, I bought into the whole thing. His brash and frat-boy attitude, drawing sanction after sanction, entertained all of us. As he riled the troops with promises of Alabama upsets, and Singing `ROCKY TOP’ all-night after beating defending Champion Florida. And now, just like that he’s gone. Its not the fact that he’s so great and will sorely be missed but the fact that he not only threw us in the trash, but he took the time to Urinate on us first. Not only did he pack in the middle of the night and leave, but he took his poppa with him, and even our recruiting coordinator. This is more of a kick in the groin then a slap in the face.

The only positive I can take from the whole situation was his press conference Wednesday Night, at 8pm in Southern Cal. The Trojans, whom I love to hate, seemed very much vulnerable after the abrupt departure of Genius Coach Pete Carroll. With a quick, knee jerk reaction, USC just got this rash from Tennessee, after a long night of drinking and fornicating, a rash, that frankly I’m ecstatic about getting rid of.

Go Trojans!!!….LOL
P.S. Over/Under On Years as Head Coach of USC is ( 3 ½ )

What you thinking….?? U know What Im Thinkin… UNDER…smh

The Love Pyramid (Mark Sanchez, Pete Carroll, & The NFL)

ITS NO FUN WITHOUT YOU!
Former USC Coach Pete Carroll and QB Mark Sanchez both end up in the NFL, but are no longer standing next to each other on the sideline.

  • 1/15/07 USC quarterback Mark Sanchez has officially announced that he will forgo his senior season and enter the NFL Draft.
  • 1/16/07 Carroll told the gathered media, "We don't see this decision the same. ... Mark is going against the grain on this decision. He knows that. He knows that coming out early is a tremendous challenge for a quarterback. And the statistics don't back up that it's easy to be successful the way he's going about it. We know that, he knows that. ... I don't agree with the assessment of the decision."
  • 4/25/09 The New York Jets drafted USC Quarterback Mark Sanchez with the fifth overall pick at the 2009 NFL Draft.
  • 7/30/09 USC and football Coach Pete Carroll under investigation for NCAA violations. Carroll employed a former NFL tactician last season to help with the team's punting and kicking game, an arrangement that may have violated NCAA rules that prohibit consultants from coaching.
  • 1/3/10 Rookie QB Mark Sanchez and New York Jets shut out Cincinnati Bengals, 37-0, to clinch playoff berth and set up Wild Card rematch.
  • 1/9/10 Sanchez nearly flawless in first career playoff game. Jets beat Bengals 24-14 and advance to Divisional Championship Game.
  • 1/10/10 Pete Carroll is preparing to sign a contract to return to the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, according to a league official with direct knowledge of the coaching search. The Los Angeles Times reported that Carroll decided Sunday night to resign from USC and take the job with the Seahawks.

Maybe the turf is greener on the other side-- we will see in the 2010-2011 season!
